Gary, Joe, Alan and I went to IHOP to have a light meal this one evening in September. As we were waiting for our food the gentleman with cowboy hat sat next to Gary and told him he had to help write a country song. We obliged and the hilarity of the situation still sends me into hysteria.

It’s funny how you have all these goals setup and all you have to do is follow through. Okay, so the day isn’t over with yet. Actually I am about to go walking now. I have to wait until the sun goes down because in the high desert it gets freaking HOT!
As most of you (three) readers my know, I do not post a lot of personal information on my blog. In some weird way I know that kind of defeats the purpose of having a blog. Well, last week I made a decision to change all of that. I wanted to start adding more content on a regular basis. Since my BlackBerry does not have a camera that left only text to insert. I am not a creative writer by any means but I was not going to let that stop me. I thought long and hard about what I could put up here and then it hit me. Instead of blog that focused on the internal workings of my mind, I am going to blog about the external or physical.
So, my mom and sister and her daughter, which would obviously be my niece, went to Edmund, Oklahoma to visit my oldest sister for the week of July 4th. It was like a vacation for my mom. It turns out my cousin and his sister, which again means she is my cousin as well, decided they would travel after work from Dallas to Edmund, which by the way has actually been engulfed by Oklahoma City, to celebrate the holiday as well. Because of logistics, schedules, etc., my family has not seen these cousins for close to two years now. Not to be left out of a spontaneous family reunion, my sisters decided to fly me up to Dallas on Friday so I could tag along in my cousin’s car. It has been some time since I last posted. Over a year it appears. Hmm. Well, I have graduated from the University and now have a job in my home town as a web programmer. I guess yo could say I’m also a web designer and a web master and a web administrator…. I guess that is why my business card says web specialist. Oh well. More to come I’m sure. I’m about to watch my niece graduate from high school. How old does that make you feel.
