flickr

Wow. Since I have included the FAlbum plugin, I have been messing with flickr more. I have to say, the flickrexport plugin in iPhoto is awesome. Very easy to use. You would just highlight the pohos you want to upload and hit export. The dialogue box takes care of everything you could possibly want to [...]

FAlbum woes

It must not be my week to install anything. I had the worst luck with FAlbum. Actually the first issue was a stupid thing on my part. Apparently lowercase letters make a big difference in locating folders, duh! The second issue was an unsupported thing with the theme I was using. I use K2 here [...]

My KDE finished

It crapped out twice since we last spoke, but after building the troublesome packages by themselves before continuing, it worked. I decided to go with kwin windowing system instead of quartz. It did give it a more linux look. So, if you want the easiest way out, use fink. It definetly wasn’t the fastest, seeing [...]

Study? Yeah, right

It’s close to the end of the semester and I really should be finishing up some paintings, starting on some drawings, and quite possibly creating a PowerPoint for tomorrow’s theory class. Instead, this is what I have decided to do – install KDE on my PowerBook. At first I thought it would be as simple [...]

Bijou is sleeping outside now

Sunday night was the first night Bijou slept outside. From what I can tell she stayed in the doghouse with Mugsy all night. I didn’t hear a peep from her. It makes me a little sad now that she isn’t keeping my feet warm. At least she has Mugsy.

Going to the artic?

I recieved my packet today from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. It’s not that I have actually been accepted. Hell, I haven’t even applied. Get this. It costs $1,010 per semester hour. A 60 hour graduate program will end up costing over $15,000 a semester. That’s a lot of money. That’s more [...]
