Country Blues

Gary, Joe, Alan and I went to IHOP to have a light meal this one evening in September. As we were waiting for our food the gentleman with cowboy hat sat next to Gary and told him he had to help write a country song. We obliged and the hilarity of the situation still sends me into hysteria.

Day One

It’s funny how you have all these goals setup and all you have to do is follow through. Okay, so the day isn’t over with yet. Actually I am about to go walking now. I have to wait until the sun goes down because in the high desert it gets freaking HOT!

The first day isn’t completely a bust. I had planned on starting the Buddakon workout this morning. Before I went to bed last night, I read the directions. Apparently the first day is reserved for just looking at the poses. the second day is a skip day. Of course I got up too late to do anything so it looks like I will be posing first thing tomorrow. Not a huge loss.

As for food, well, I didn’t quite follow my original plan, but when you’re broke it is a little hard to eat healthy. In fact, it’s a little hard to eat at all. I have a feeling the diet part of all of this might be more difficult than I had first imagined. Actually, this is a good thing because I will be cutting off the portions pretty quick. Positive thinking, right?

At least the walk should go smoothly. I already have my audio picked out: the latest edition of This Week In Tech. Woo-hoo.
